Source: Injury could sideline Sheffield

Texas Tech starting quarterback Steven Sheffield sustained a foot injury that could keep him "out for awhile," according to a source. A source indicated that Sheffield sustained the injury late in the fourth quarter of the Red Raiders' 31-10 victory over Nebraska on Saturday. The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reported Monday that Sheffield will miss at least two to three weeks with the injury.
