ESPNChicago.com Sunday, October 18, 2009 Loyola Academy senior defensive end Chance Carter committed to Northwestern on Sunday night, according to his former AAU coach Mike Weinstein, who assisted in his football recruiting. According to Weinstein, Northwestern's academics, location, football success and Wildcats coach Pat Fitzgerald all played into Carter's choice. "Coach Fitzgerald was great," Weinstein said.
