OXFORD, Miss. -- Jevan Snead threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns as Mississippi defeated Alabama-Birmingham 48-13 on Saturday night. One week after throwing four interceptions against Alabama, Snead was 15-for-22 with no interceptions for the Rebels (4-2). Freshman Rodney Scott rushed for two second-quarter touchdowns for Ole Miss and was one of four players to score their first career touchdowns.
