Hossa skates for first time since surgery

Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa skated Friday for the first time since his shoulder surgery. The 30-year-old veteran took the ice by himself while the team took the day off. "The legs were still there," Hossa said. "It's the first half hour on the ice after a long time. So far [I'm] happy. I have to work on the conditioning on the ice, because I've been doing a lot of biking. When you step on the ice, it's a little bit different."
