Fame and Glory, his reputation somewhat tarnished after a sixth-place finish in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe two weeks ago, will cut back to 1 1/4 miles for the Group 1, $359,000 Champion Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday, when he will go off as the likely 5-4 favorite.
