Bench gives Mavs boost

The Mavs have a 25-24 lead after finishing the first quarter with a 10-0 run. The buzz around the AAC is that the Mavs' bench is much better than it was last season. Consider this evidence for that case. Drew Gooden will start a lot of games, but he provided punch off the pine with six points in the first quarter.
