Big 12 preseason hoops poll 1-2: Kansas, UT

Kansas received all 11 first-place votes from conference coaches in the Big 12 preseason men's basketball poll. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own teams. Since Texas got the only other first-place vote, one can deduce that Kansas coach Bill Self voted for them. Here's the full list (first-place votes in parenthesis): 1. Kansas (11): 121 points 2.
