Rangers general manager Jon Daniels was asked during last week's chat here on ESPN Dallas about Eric Hurley's progress after surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff and frayed labrum in his right shoulder. Daniels' thoughts: "Eric spent the summer in Arlington, doing his rehab at Dr Meister clinic here. He came to the park on occasion to work out with the guys and be evaluated by our staff.
