Torn ligaments to sideline Piurowski

Florida State senior tight end Caz Piurowski will miss the rest of the season with torn medial collateral and anterior cruciate ligaments in his right knee, the school announced after the results of an MRI on Monday. The injury occurred in the first quarter of Saturday's 49-44 loss to Georgia Tech, and Piurowski will need surgery within the next two weeks, according to director of sports medicine Randy Oravetz.
