CONWAY, S.C. -- Zach MacDowall threw for 207 yards and a touchdown to lead Coastal Carolina to a 20-6 victory over Virginia Military Institute on Saturday night. MacDowall was 14 of 20 and gave the Chanticleers (3-2, 1-0 Big South Conference) a 7-3 lead on a 41-yard touchdown pass to Adrian Sullivan with 5:44 left in the first quarter.
