Saturday, October 10, 2009 TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Lightning won for the first time in almost seven months. Ryan Malone had three goals, including the go-ahead score midway through the third period, and the Lightning beat the Carolina Hurricanes 5-2 on Saturday night. "From Day 1 he has been ready to go," Lightning coach Rick Tocchet said. Malone made it 3-2 from the slot with 9:14 to play after receiving a nifty pass from Martin St. Louis.
