Rutgers routs Texas Southern for 600th victory

PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Joe Martinek scored on runs of 9 and 15 yards and Rutgers won its 600th game with a 42-0 victory over Texas Southern on Saturday. Freshman Tom Savage returned to the starting lineup after missing the Scarlet Knights' last game with a concussion and threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Tim Brown.
