The Minnesota Twins sneak in as the eighth seed in this year's playoffs, the worst team by a pretty good margin, and only the game's best all-around player separates them from being a second-division club. Strengths Kubel Mauer Joe Mauer is that aforementioned best all-around player, a tremendous offensive force who plays excellent defense at one of the toughest positions on the diamond.
