ESPNRISE.com Tuesday, October 6, 2009 In the 20-year history of the Maryland high school football media state poll, only 15 teams have spent 100 or more weeks in the rankings. That elite company includes all of the state standards -- DeMatha, Seneca Valley, Gilman, Damascus, Fort Hill, Loyola, and Urbana, among others. But interestingly, only one of the 15 has never won a championship. That one team is Douglass-P.G., which is back in the rankings this week at No. 25. Could this be the year for the Eagles?
