Mavericks hop on Barea's back

Pint-sized point guard J.J. Barea provided the Mavericks with a spark in the second quarter of the preseason opener. Barea poured in 13 points in the period, sparking the Mavs to a 47-45 lead. Barea's buckets came on a variety of shots: a pair of 3-pointers, a jumper, a drive to the basket and a few free throws.
