Shawn Marion sits out preseason opener

Shawn Marion put on a show at the Mavs Fan Jam last week, but fans will have to wait a little bit longer to see him in a game. Marion won't play in tonight's preseason opener because of a sore right calf. It's not a serious injury, but the Mavs want to be careful to make sure it doesn't nag him. Matt Carroll and Quinton Ross are the Mavs' starting wings for the night.
