Monday, October 5, 2009 NEW YORK -- Mets shortstop Jose Reyes will have surgery to clean up scar tissue around a tendon behind his right knee but will not need an operation to repair his torn right hamstring. The date for the surgery hasn't been set, but the team said Reyes is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for spring training. Reyes tried to come back after he was placed on the disabled list May 26 but felt discomfort while running during his rehabilitation work last Tuesday. An MRI showed a new tear ...
