Injuries to eligible NFL draft prospects are racking up at an alarming rate. The most high profile of all is Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford's shoulder sprain suffered during the season-opening loss to BYU. Bradford returned to practice this week, but he reportedly will not play at Miami on Saturday night. Nobody wants to see him rush back before he's ready, but every game missed is an opportunity lost for Bradford, who still has plenty to prove to NFL scouts.
