Thursday, October 1, 2009 ATLANTA -- Atlanta Braves outfielder Garret Anderson has gotten his 2,500th major league hit. Anderson hit a second-inning single off Washington's Garrett Mock on Thursday night to reach the milestone. He is the 89th player in major league history with 2,500 hits, according to the Elias Sports Bureau. Anderson ranks seventh among active players.
