Wednesday, September 30, 2009 Cubs first baseman Derrek Lee will play in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader. There was enough concern about his injured left foot that the team had him take an X-ray, which came up negative. Lee hit a foul ball off of his foot in the sixth inning of Tuesday's game and was removed from the game as a precaution. "We wanted to be careful because of Dempster and Reed," Lee said.
