Monday, September 28, 2009 BANGKOK -- American John Isner edged Kittipong Wachiramanowong 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (5) Monday in the first round of the Thailand Open. The 48th-ranked Isner trailed 5-4 in the third set as the young Thai served for the match, but managed to overcome his wild-card opponent.
