Sunday, September 27, 2009 WASHINGTON -- The Washington Capitals scored four unanswered goals on Sunday and then held off a third-period comeback by the New York Rangers for a 4-3 win in the final preseason game for both teams. Brooks Laich had a goal and an assist in helping the Capitals build a 4-0 lead after two periods. Washington also got goals from Alexander Semin, Chris Bourque and Mike Knuble.
