Saturday, September 26, 2009 VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Evan Jones passed for 323 yards and two touchdowns to pace Carthage past Valparaiso 34-24 Saturday. Jones' scoring tosses went 6 yards to Jeff Koeneman and 8 yards to Jake Smith. John Seigler carried 17 times for 76 yards and touchdowns of 2 and 6 yards, and Alex Annes intercepted Valparaiso quarterback Bobby Wysocki and returned the pass for a 16-yard touchdown for Carthage (3-0).
