Saturday, September 26, 2009 TASHKENT, Uzbekistan -- Local favorite Akgul Amanmuradova upset top-seeded Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhstan 6-4, 7-6 (3) Saturday to advance to the Tashkent Open final. Amanmuradova will play second-seeded Shahar Peer of Israel, who beat Olga Govortsova of Belarus 7-6 (5), 6-2. The 113th-ranked Amanmuradova, the 2005 tournament runner-up, broke Shvedova in the 10th game of the first set.
