OTTAWA -- Drew Fata scored 7:16 into the third period and Tim Thomas made 35 saves in the Boston Bruins' 2-1 preseason win over the Ottawa Senators on Friday night. Vladimir Sobotka won a faceoff in Ottawa's zone and Jeff Lovecchio fed the puck to the point, where Fata drove a slap shot through traffic past Pascal Leclaire.
