Friday, September 25, 2009 The Patriots worked out five free-agent receivers and one free-agent defensive lineman within the last 24-48 hours. Former Titan Chris Davis was the most notable name on the list of receivers. The others were Anthony Armstrong, Larry Beavers, William Franklin and Courtney Taylor. Former Raider Terdell Sands was the defensive lineman. It is commonplace for teams to work out free agents over the course of the season as they keep their emergency list updated.
