Tuesday, September 22, 2009 NEW YORK -- Brian McCann left Atlanta's game against the New York Mets with a bruised left wrist. X-rays were negative and he is day to day. The All-Star catcher appeared to get hit by a foul ball in the bottom of the third inning. McCann, batting cleanup, stepped to the plate with two on and nobody out in the top of the fourth and dropped down a sacrifice bunt that advanced both runners.
