STOCK UP The University of Washington, which didn't win a game last season, stunned USC in the Pac-10 opener. How about a salute to first-year coach Steve Sarkisian! Miami-Florida is off to a 2-0 start after beating Georgia Tech convincingly. The Jets upset the Patriots. Frank Gore had an outstanding game as the Niners beat the Seahawks. Floyd Mayweather came back from a long layoff and easily defeated Juan Manuel Marquez. Florida State was very impressive in its win at BYU. ...
