PITTSBURGH -- Kevin Correia didn't expect to become the ace of his hometown team's pitching staff when he signed with the San Diego Padres as a free agent last winter. Yet that is what the native of San Diego has become, turning in another outstanding September start Sunday with seven strong innings as the Padres beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-0.
