Sunday, September 20, 2009 GUANGZHOU, China -- Shahar Peer of Israel has won her first WTA Tour title in three years, beating Alberta Brianti 6-3, 6-4 of Italy in the Guangzhou Open final. The fifth-seeded Peer's last championships came in Prague, Istanbul and Pattaya, Thailand in 2006. The eighth-seeded Brianti was playing in her first tour final on Sunday.
