Saturday, September 19, 2009 The Blackhawks made a couple of in-game announcements Saturday night during their preseason opener versus the Washington Capitals. The 19,734 fans that bought tickets were a Blackhawks preseason record. There were some empty seats but as far as tickets sold, the Hawks say this breaks the record set last exhibition season against the Blue Jackets when they drew 18,752. The Hawks also announced they will honor former Hawk great Jeremy Roenick on November 15 with another Heritage Night. The Hawks ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
