Preseason attendance record-breaker

The Blackhawks made a couple of in-game announcements Saturday night during their preseason opener versus the Washington Capitals. The 19,734 fans that bought tickets were a Blackhawks preseason record. There were some empty seats but as far as tickets sold, the Hawks say this breaks the record set last exhibition season against the Blue Jackets when they drew 18,752.
