Mayo ruled out of Sunday's game

The Patriots just released an updated injury report for Sunday's game against the Jets, and, not surprisingly, Jerod Mayo has been listed as out for the game. Mayo sprained the medial collateral ligament in the first quarter of Monday night's 25-24 win over the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots said only that he had a knee injury. On Thursday, Mayo was spotted wearing a brace on his injured right knee and walking with crutches. On Tuesday, coach Bill Belichick said he didn't think Mayo's injury was ...
