ANAHEIM, Calif. -- Bobby Ryan scored twice in regulation and again leading off the shootout, helping the Anaheim Ducks beat the Phoenix Coyotes 3-2 in their preseason opener on Wednesday night. Jonas Hiller stopped 18 of 19 Phoenix shots, before Timo Pielmeier replaced him midway through the second period with the score tied and made 28 saves for the win.
