LOUIS -- Paul Kariya scored in his first game action in almost a year to help the St. Louis Blues to a 3-1 victory Tuesday night over the Minnesota Wild in the preseason opener for both teams. Erik Johnson also returned for St. Louis, which got goals from Kariya and Chris Porter 29 seconds apart in the first period. Derek Armstrong had a goal and an assist.
