No. 1 overall pick Tavares won't suit up yet

According to a New York Islanders spokesman, top prospect John Tavares won't be in the lineup for the club's Monday night preseason opener against the Vancouver Canucks in Terrace, British Columbia. The first overall selection in the 2009 draft stayed back at the Isles' training camp home in Saskatoon because of illness.
