Saturday, September 12, 2009 ST. LOUIS -- Brian McCann knew he got his pitch. What he didn't know was how well he hit it. Brian McCann hit a two-run double in the top of the ninth off closer Ryan Franklin and the Atlanta Braves held on to beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-6 on Saturday. "I put together a good at-bat there in the ninth," McCann said. "I was just trying to get a pitch up in the zone and I hit it a little better and it reached the wall."
