No, he's not un-retiring from announcing to work for the Hawks. It's the John Madden who never played major junior hockey in Canada, won a championship at the University of Michigan, went undrafted, won two Cups with the New Jersey Devils, and just happens to be one of the better defensive centermen in the game.
