ESPN Insider Friday, September 11, 2009 On Oct. 14, 2006, Adrian Peterson broke his collarbone while diving into the end zone at the end of a 53-yard touchdown run against Iowa State. And while Peterson managed to come back for some scratch duty in the Fiesta Bowl -- yeah, that one -- the freak collarbone injury may have secured his stock as a top-10 pick in the draft.
