Tuesday, September 8, 2009 TAMPA, Fla. -- Yankees pitcher Ian Kennedy felt good after his first game-type action since surgery in May to remove an aneurysm below his right biceps. Kennedy threw 22 of 35 pitches for strikes over two innings in a simulated game against Yankees minor leaguers on Tuesday. The right-hander said it remains doubtful he will make an appearance in a minor league playoff this season, but he is set to pitch in the instructional league later this month and the Arizona Fall League.
