Basanez makes practice squad

The Bears signed seven players to the practice squad, the team announced Sunday. Among those signed to the practice squad is former Northwestern quarterback Brett Basanez. Other players signed to the squad were Johan Asiata, Ervin Baldwin, Brett Basanez, Joe Clermond, Donovan Raiola, Will Ta'ufo'ou and Woodny Turenne.
