Basanez among 7 on practice squad

The Chicago Bears on Sunday announced they have placed seven players on the practice squad, including former Northwestern quarterback Brett Basanez. Other players placed on the practice squad include: Johan Asiata (G, UNLV), Ervin Baldwin (DE, Michigan State), Joe Clemond (DE, Pittsburgh), Donovan Raiola (C, Wisconsin), Will Ta'ufo'ou (FB, California), and Woodny Turenne (CB, Louisville). The Bears have one remaining practice squad spot available.
