Top WR Briscoe held out by Kansas

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Dezmon Briscoe, who set a school record for yards receiving last year but was suspended throughout spring practice, was one of four players held out of Saturday night's season opener by No. 25 Kansas. Also held out against Northern Colorado were wide receiver Raimond Pendleton, defensive tackle Jamal Greene and defensive end Jeff Wheeler, all reserves.
