OAKLAND, Calif. -- Very little seems to excite Seattle's Ichiro Suzuki, least of all his own accomplishments. The Mariners right fielder moved one step closer to baseball history, picking up a pair of hits to move within four of 2,000 for his career during Seattle's 6-3 win over the Oakland Athletics on Friday night, then casually downplayed his impending milestone.
