CRANS-SUR-SIERRE, Switzerland -- Robert Karlsson will not defend his Mercedes Masters title in Germany next week because he needs more time to recover from a lingering eye infection, his manager said on Friday. But last year's European No. 1 will return to full practice next week and hopes to make a comeback later this month.
