Baseball Prospectus Tuesday, September 1, 2009 I present the stats of four rookie pitchers to you, without names. One of those pitchers went on to win 305 big league games to go with 10 All-Star selections and a pair of Cy Young Awards. Another went to eight All-Star Games, won a Cy Young and later became one of the best closers in the game. A third had a pair of 18-win seasons and 10 postseason starts before he reached age 24, although his career later was derailed by arm injuries.
