Monday, August 31, 2009 THOMAS HOPES TO PLAY (10:21 p.m. ET) Zach Thomas told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday that he intends to play again despite being limited by undisclosed injuries. A source close to the Chiefs said this weekend that Thomas, who was signed in the offseason, was not expected to play. But doctors have not ruled the linebacker unfit.
