Smith to transfer to Memphis

Former Miami backup quarterback Cannon Smith will play for his hometown Memphis Tigers. Smith, who announced his plans to transfer from Miami last week, will enroll at Memphis, his father, Fred Smith, told multiple media outlets. "Cannon decided he will play for Memphis," Smith, who is the founder and CEO of FedEx, texted to the Miami Herald.
