MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Boston Red Sox right-hander Daisuke Matsuzaka allowed five runs in the first inning of a rehab start for Boston's Double-A affliate Portland on Sunday. Matsuzuka allowed a leadoff homer among his four hits and walked three. He pitched a perfect second inning, retiring the side on nine pitches, but took the 5-3 loss in the first game of a doubleheader against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
