Tuesday, August 25, 2009 You are hearing the laments all over the place. Did anyone really get penalized or harshly disciplined in the Memphis case? How did John Calipari escape without a sanction, even though his "legacy" will be two vacated Final Fours? The penalty levied on Memphis seems so unsatisfying for the blood-thirsty onlookers who seem to want to punish the latest transgression harshly to balance all of the ills of the basketball culture.
