Saturday, August 22, 2009 New Orleans Saints left tackle Jammal Brown has undergone surgery by a doctor specializing in sports hernia injuries and has returned to New Orleans, The Times-Picayune reported Saturday. The paper cited NFL sources in saying the Saints' two-time Pro Bowler had been operated on by Philadelphia-based Dr. William Myers and said Brown is expected to miss the rest of training camp while recovering.
